God built into YOU a desire to have an impact.

Innate in each of us is a desire to have a positive (God sized) impact on the world. However, from personal experience and also observation, we see most men held back from this calling because they have yet to really figure out who they are as:

  • a son of God

  • a brother in Christ to other men

Once we have the truth, we must then learn to live it out by the grace of God.

Learn how to be a son and brother, including how to hear and discern the voice of God in your everyday life and within your family and community. From this, your ability to be effective as a “Soldier” will begin to multiply exponentially!

Our mission at Son Brother Solider is to help any man who:

  • wants to grow closer to Jesus

  • hungers for freedom and breakthrough

  • desires authentic brotherhood

... have a place where he can do just that! It begins with a 2 or 3 day retreat and continues with a 40-Day Challenge.

Frequently Asked Questions

Must I Be Catholic?

No. Though the speakers on these two retreats are Catholic, and the Liturgy and Sacraments will be celebrated, men of other Christian denominations not only invited, but readily welcomed! Son Brother Soldier greatly values a cooperative spirit between Catholics and Evangelical Protestants.

What Can I Expect From The Retreat?

Plan on engaging speakers, practical content you apply on the spot, hearing truth you have likely been wanting, times for prayer and journaling, and more. Do NOT expect a silent retreat. However, you will have quiet time for reflection, as well as Mass, Adoration, and Confession.

What's Involved With The 40 Day Challenge?

Participation is optional! That said, we believe that you will find it immensely valuable to have:

  • Weekly small groups with other men on a similar path to holiness.

  • Prayer and Fasting - we encourage expanding your prayer time from it’s current place by 24 minutes a day, focusing on listening to God in Scripture and conversation. We will give you guidance on prayer and fasting and you will ask God for direction in a level of fasting that will be both challenging and attainable. Then, let God show you His victory.

  • Perhaps the most unique element is utilizing the above elements con-currently with one-on-one Spiritual Coaching for 50 minutes each week with one of our directors or coaches.
